GEARS is an easy to use piece of software for education facilities such as high-schools and junior-high buildings to efficiently and quickly move students from class to class during a study hall, advisory, or work study period.
GEARS is also an easy to use paperless disciplinary referral system. Now staff and administrators can easily track and monitor a referral ticket from start to finish, all without using any paperwork.

| How the Study Hall Module Works |
| 1. Throughout the day, teachers log into GEARS and checks a box to request the students they need to see during study hall. Students also come to teachers and ask to be requested. |
| It doesn't matter who the student has for study hall, or if the student even knows they are being requested, GEARS handles this for you. |
| |

| 2. When the study hall period begins, the teacher will have a list of their students and requests that the students need to go see. Students are then sent on their way to those classrooms and teachers. |
| Usually a few minutes after the study hall begins, students then are free to travel and move to their designated requests. |
| |
|
|
| 3. Students arrive at their requested teachers, and teachers mark in GEARS that they have arrived. |
| Now teachers can hold students accountable if they leave and never show up to their designated class request! |
| |
|
|
| 4. At the end of study hall, students arrive back at their original study hall class, and the teacher knows they have been busy at their requested classroom. |
| Students are moving to designated classrooms and completing work that they may have not otherwise, and are still held accountable for getting there. |

| How the Discipline Module Works |
| 1. Staff decide a referral is needed for a student and open GEARS to complete the referral. |
| Once a new referral is started, it behaves like an electronic ticket, able to be tracked throughout the entire disciplinary process. |
| |
| 2. The referral ticket is started, administrators in GEARS have access to the entire discipline process, being able to view and response to a referral, or simply assign it to a detention officer, counselor, or appropriate staff. |
| Not all referrals may need to see an administrator, it may be a case where it can see a detention officer or counselor and then be completed. |
| |
| 3. Action can be assigned to the referral, or notes can be added for all staff involved to see. |
| Now staff can read the notes to a referral and follow the status of the referral to ensure it is being looked into and completed. |
| |
| 4. Once a referral is designated as closed, staff and administrators can all be on the same page regarding the referral. |
| Staff can see if a student served detention, completed other type of action, who the referral went through to completion, and can ensure that it was handled... all without paper! |

| GEARS Licensing: |
GEARS may be used with all or some modules enabled on unlimited number of machines, with unlimited number of students, administrators, and staff. The only licensing limitation is per 'site', and a site is defined as one educational building such as a high-school or junior-high. |
| GEARS Updates: |
All Updates to the GEARS software and data systems are FREE of charge. Updates are pushed automatically to the users when the GEARS program is launched each time. |
| GEARS Setup: |
Level Four hosts all GEARS data and systems. All that is needed is to purchase a license, we setup the server here for you, and then you can log into and manage all your data from the GEARS software. |
| GEARS Support: |
GEARS is very easy to use, but in the event you need assistance, we can help you setup your data, provide support contracts, or even do full inservice for your staff on implementation. |
